Water Route

ROUTE: Szubin (Mączkowskiego Street) – Kowalewo – Wąsosz – Chomętowo – Wawrzynki – Redczyce – Sobiejuchy – return to Szubin via the "old S5 road"

We start on the gravel road on Mączkowskiego Street. We head toward the overpass crossing the S5 road in the direction of Kowalewo. At the Pałuki junction, we turn left toward Wąsosz and continue on the asphalt road to reach the Municipal Beach in Wąsosz – here you can make a stop. By the lake, there is a beach, a pier, a water equipment rental (kayaks, pedal boats), a playground for children, sports fields, a campsite, and camping areas. The “Albatros” Hotel-Restaurant is open year-round.

At Lake Skrzynka, we turn left and follow the road along the lake to reach the village of Chomętowo. In Chomętowo, there is the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, built in 1911. We continue on the asphalt road to Wawrzynki in the direction of Żnin (on the right side near the intersection, we pass a 19th-century Evangelical cemetery), then turn onto the road to Redczyce in the direction of Lake Sobiejuskie – here there is a historic manor park with a neoclassical palace.

We return to Szubin via the old asphalt S5 road (most of the traffic now uses the expressway).
