Żnin is a special place for the motorboating enthusiasts’ community. No other town in the world can proudly say it has been staging events as prestigious as the European and world championships in many categories for over 30 years without a break! The Pałuki capital is recognised as one of the prime centres of powerboat racing, which resulted in the establishing of the Museum of Motorboat Racing. Its collection includes not only engines – with the oldest coming from the interwar period – and propellers, but also medals, photos, posters, and programmes from motorboat events in Żnin and all over the world.

The exhibition is on view in the cellars of the former city council building, where the Museum of Pałuki Land is based.
